Sewing for Boomerang Bags
The Plastic Bag Free Dandenong Ranges group get together on Wednesdays from 10.30 am – 2ish to sew bags with the aim of keeping material out of landfill and reducing single use plastic bags. We sew Boomerang, produce and library bags from Birdsland Environmental Education Centre.
New sewers are welcome and we can help you brush up on your sewing skills.
Not a sewer? You can still help by donating remnant fabric or cutting out bags.
